Lessons learned from the devastating 2021 fires was the need for smaller trailers to assist in livestock evacuations.  We discovered that many of our larger trailers could not be rapidly deployed to remote areas and in some cases, could not traverse the often steep and difficult rural roads.  We are asking the public to donate smaller 2/4 horse size trailers with a standard hitch.  This would give us  the flexibility to deploy to evacuation sites quickly and save many more large animals in the future.  All donations to the Sheriff's Auxiliary are tax deductible.
