Are the eyes and ears of the Trinity County Sheriff's Department
Foster cooperation between citizens and deputies
➡ Educate citizens on crime prevention
➡ Educate the business community on common sense prevention techniques
➡ Create high visibility, public presence in the neighborhoods
➡ Unite residents for a dedicated reason
➡ Help make law enforcement more effective and productive
➡ May be assigned to conduct foot and vehicle patrols, and traffic control assisting at other public or ceremonial events.
LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
To become a volunteer, you must:
➡Be able to successfully pass a screening process including a criminal background investigation, live scan, interviews and reference check
➡ Be at least 21 years of age
➡ Live in Trinity County
➡ Attend trainings
➡ Be available at least 10 hours per month (including monthly meeting)
➡ Coordinate with other volunteers
➡ Wear provided uniform
